It was a night to remember for 14 Banmira Specialist School students, as the school put on its annual debutante ball.

On Tuesday, September 8, the students joined with community partners from Greater Shepparton Secondary College, Notre Dame College and SEDA as they graced the dance floor at The Woolshed in Kialla.
Emotions ran high and the room was filled with joy as families, friends and staff gathered to celebrate the students.
“There was a real buzz in the room on the night,” Banmira Specialist School unit leader Kayla Whittaker said.
“It was an absolute celebration and had such a strong sense of community.”
Once the formal ceremony concluded, students’ guests joined them on the dance floor to celebrate the rest of the night.
