The club is looking to field several teams in the Saturday afternoon Benalla and District competition and the Saturday morning Broadford and District Junior competition.
To make sure all is good for the season, a working bee will be on September 8 starting at 9am to carry out court and clubhouse maintenance.
This will be followed by a fun hit to get the swing happening again and the tennis brain working.
All people are most welcome to come along and join in.
This is the same day as the Avenel Make it, Bake it Market, so you can bag a bargain as well as flex the muscles and grab a bite to eat from the barbecue to replenish the energy levels afterwards.
Training nights will start on September 12 with junior training start at 4pm followed by seniors from 5.30pm. It is anticipated the first game of the season will be on October 5.
Anyone interested in playing either junior or senior competition tennis with the club are asked to phone either Stephen Garner 5796 2547 or 0419 870 207, Paul Robinson on 0425 801 860 or Dee Wright on 5796 2309 as soon as possible so that we can organise how many teams we enter in the junior and senior competitions.
For those not interested in playing competition tennis, but would still like a hit, we offer social membership at $25 per single or $50 a family. A reminder to social members that membership for the 2019-20 season is due.
