Fun, food and friends in Seymour

“As we started there was encouragement for people from Asian and Anglo backgrounds to try the food that they do not recognise, and then to find someone who could explain to them what they were eating,” Uniting Church community outreach worker Michael Eason said.

“Many were brave, and the conversations were lively. We noticed the Asian food was less processed than the Aussie food, and the Aussies had far more dessert.

“After eating we enjoyed table tennis and music; sharing a great time, breaking down barriers and growing community. It was unanimous that we should do this again.”
