Two people airlifted to Melbourne after Avenel crash

Two people have been airlifted to hospital after a collision in Avenel on Thursday afternoon.Paramedics were called to the Avenel-Nagambie Rd just before 3.30pm.They treated a woman in her 50s for chest injuries. She was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Melbourne.A man in his 60s was treated for abdominal injuries. He is being airlifted to the Alfred.Both patients are in a serious but stable condition
