About $14000 worth of grants were dispersed between Campapse community groups during February and March.

The grants were awarded by Campaspe Shire Council for both community event sponsorship and for equipment.
The recipients included:
Rich River Rod and Custom Club Inc. to assist with hosting the Rich River Rod Run on March 16 and 17.
Colbinabbin and District Historical Society Inc. to go towards hosting the Colbinabbin Silo Art Picnic and Wine Festival on May 5.
Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club Inc. to assist with hosting the annual Easter Tournament from March 30 to April 1.
Echuca Steam Preservation Society Inc. to go towards hosting the Echuca Moama Steam Iron and Trades Revival from 7 to June 10.
Echuca Moama Pride Inc. to purchase a marquee and signage for events across the shire.
Rushworth Football Netball Club Inc. to assist with buying essential equipment to encourage junior participation in the club.
Kyabram and District Men’s Shed Inc. to purchase a range of weights and accessories to help introduce a strength training program at the Men’s Shed.
Council said the community engagement and participation level highlights the strong commitment towards creating a vibrant and inclusive community for all residents.
