NT records another 16 COVID-19 cases

The five cases are household contacts of previous cases in the Tennant Creek area. 

Four are in the Todd Quarantine Facility in Alice Springs, while the fifth is in the Tennant Creek Hospital, NT Health said on Tuesday. 

Among the territory's other cases, four are interstate arrivals with one active in the community while infectious. 

Five cases are close contacts of interstate arrivals and are all in isolation.

Health authorities have also confirmed a mystery case reported on Monday was acquired in the community. 

The woman in her 60s contracted the virus from a recent interstate arrival while at a Darwin City restaurant.

An updated list of exposure sites has been identified on the Northern Territory Health website. 

The Nhulunbuy community is encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 following positive wastewater results.
