Man arrested after woman dies from alleged assault

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, died at the scene. 

A 37-year-old man from Slacks Creek is assisting police with inquiries.

"The man and woman were known to each other. However, we are unable to comment further on their relationship at this stage," a Queensland Police spokesperson said.

A crime scene has been established, and police said there is no further threat to the community.
