February 3: A meeting was held at Kialla West and it was resolved that a weatherboard building suitable for a school would be constructed on allotment 55 on Mitchell Rd. There were 30 children of school age within two miles of the building.
February 26: A building of 20ft x 12ft with no floor was completed, by parents.
April 4: Kialla West No. 1727 was enrolled as a State School.
May 1: The school was opened.
1877
November 2: A government-built school was constructed. This building was 30ft x 18ft and had a four-bedroom residence attached, on the site of the current school location. The tender price for this building was 450 pounds.
1881
The two-acre school grounds were fenced.
1883
December: Residence and school were painted for a total cost of 22 pounds.
1965
A construction replaced the school residence and classroom. The school residence was not replaced as the enrolment was two short of the required number.
1968
An additional classroom began construction due to an increased enrolment, including a storeroom and office.
1982
A portable classroom was installed at the school to accommodate for the increasing enrolment. The school emblem of a tree was created.
1986
The expansion of the school building with an additional two more classrooms and an office for the principal.
1995
The school emblem changed to a possum.
2000
Additional purchase of 1.2 hectares of land.
2003
Building works were completed to expand the office and storage area.
2004
$135,000 government-funded project for new toilets to be constructed.
2010
Construction of the multi-purpose building — Building Education Revolution.
2018
$955,000 construction of four classrooms to replace portable classrooms and an asphalt court.

School celebrates 150 years of education.
