With Lee, Green, 2025 major winner Grace Kim and mercurial talent Steph Kyriacou forming a formidable team, Australia are seeded fourth for the biennial match play event in South Korea.
Even without absent world No.2 Nelly Korda, the USA are top seeds ahead of Japan, the tournament hosts and Australia, with Thailand, Sweden, the World and China rounding out the eight-team event.
Australia have been pitted in Pool A's "group of death" with the US, defending champions Thailand and eighth-seeded China and will likely need to win two of their pool match-ups - comprising of all fourball fixtures on Thursday, Friday and Saturday - to secure a path to Sunday's semi-finals.
The format for the semis and final will be two singles clashes and one foursomes match.
After losing the 2023 decider to Thailand, who will again be led this campaign by world No.1 Jeeno Thitikul, Green is tipping another strong showing from the Australians.
"We are all very excited, and we are all competitive against one another," Green said.
"Hopefully that will show when we are playing on the golf course.
"We're really excited and I wouldn't be surprised if we do well because we have a good team bond, and that is very important for this tournament."
World No.3 Lee is the only player at the event to have featured in all six previous editions and will be crucial to Australia's chances.
So, too, will Green, who returned to form last week with her first top-10 finish of the season since April.
After missing the cut in five of her previous six starts, Green credited her tie for fifth to a more relaxed approach following a three-week reset in WA.
"I think throughout the season I was searching to see what I was doing wrong," Green said.
"Usually at our level, we are always repeating. It might be just a little tweak here and there.
"I think because I wasn't having the results, I was trying to search and it really wasn't that complicated. I was making it tougher for myself.
"Having a week off with no golf is really helpful at home. And being able to see my coach, we both agreed we were searching a little bit too much. Just going back to basics, nothing out of the ordinary."
