Jason Delecca leads the family business into its next chapter, building on nearly five decades of experience and the values passed down by his parents, Ron and Leigh.
Same family name, same promise: Jason Delecca now leads Australia's longest serving Bobcat dealer into its next chapter.
Delecca’s has been fixing, selling and backing machinery since 1977, when Ron Delecca opened the doors as a general mechanic in Long Gully, Bendigo.

The business became a Bobcat dealer in the late 1980s and has carried that partnership ever since.
In 2014, as the business grew, it moved to its current site on Marong Road, West Bendigo, with a bigger workshop and more room for the hire fleet, and today the team works with farmers, contractors, councils and businesses across regional Victoria and southern NSW.
These days, Jason Delecca leads the business.
He grew up around it — visiting Elmore Field Days as a kid, then spending his teenage years getting to know the same customers his parents did.
He joined the business properly in 2006, starting in the workshop as a diesel mechanic, and spent seven years there before working through every other part of the business.
Two and a half years ago, after 18 years working alongside his parents, Jason took over full ownership as Ron and Leigh retired.
Same family name, same values, with a new generation now leading it forward.
“We’re not here to be the hero of the story,” Jason said.
“We’re here to back the hero of the story — to make sure the people doing the hard work can get it done.”
That's reflected in what Delecca's does every day: selling machinery across Bobcat, McCormick, Clark, EP Electric and Segway; offering hire for jobs that don't call for owning a machine outright; and servicing everything it sells, in the workshop or out on site, wherever the work is happening.
Add parts and ongoing support, and it’s a complete offering — the telehandler and hire fleet sides in particular, have grown well beyond what most people expect from a Bobcat dealer.
Some of the people buying machines from Delecca’s this year bought their first one from Ron, more than 40 years ago.
Jason’s goal is simple: to be there for their last one too. Fittingly, Delecca’s is back at Elmore this year — the same field days Jason grew up attending, now with him leading the business.
Come and see the team, and the machinery, at Elmore Field Days, 6–8 October, site [SITE #]. Or call 1300 778 826.
