Eastern Spreaders Pty Ltd of Kerang is celebrating more than 45 years of distributing Marshall Multispread fertiliser spreaders through the Eastern States of Australia.
The Multispread is a multi-purpose machine designed to suit all types of granular product and seeds as well as lime, manures and compost.

They are available with many options including the i4M Variable Rate Controller system and weighing systems, which can also be retrofitted to older machines.
Manager Steve Freeman said about 50 per cent of the larger machines they sell now include weighing systems and variable rate control.
“You can also still get a simple machine for smaller areas, or to suit older tractors,” he said.
“We still have 2.5 and 4.5 tonne machines and we go up to 14 and 16 tonne units.”
They have recently also begun distributing the Canadian built Degelman Bio Spreaders, a heavy duty machine to handle bulky feedlot and dairy manures, compost.
They are built with hardened steel to prevent sagging and deformation over extended use.
The live floor has a 3/4” grade 80 chain with a higher breaking strength, and the innovative vertical beater system delivers rock-steady performance, and uniform spread.
The beater assembly can be easily removed to allow use of the unit as a trailer.
The live floor gives the option to unload all of its material in as little as 90 seconds.
Eastern Spreaders have been the Australian distributors for RENN Roller Mills from Canada since 2018.
Manufactured by Degelman, RENN has been in the business of feed processing for over 50 years and mills feature 12, 24, 36 and 48 inch wide rollers in portable PTO drive models with folding 12ft unloading augers.
Electric motor drive is also available. The 16-inch diameter rollers are precision-machined and dynamically balanced.
Eastern Spreaders have distributed the Canadian made NDECo Vertical Feedmixers since 2000.
The mixers have a very quick cutting and efficient mixing ability and come in sizes from 11 cubic metre single auger machines to 42 cubic metres for large triple auger units.
NDECo vertical mixers can be ordered with either front door/rear door feed-out or two side doors with a 3ft–9ft discharge elevator on either the left or right side.
Eastern Spreaders will have their range of equipment on display at the upcoming Elmore field days, including the Rotowiper carpet-covered roller type weed-wipers which are available in both trailing and tractor-mount models.
