Designed for people at every stage of their learning and career journey, The Expo helps attendees explore pathways, discover opportunities and make informed decisions about their future.
Data released by the Victorian Skills Authority indicates that over 1100 new education workers will be needed in our region alone across the next three years, with more than 200 of those in the early childhood education and care sector.
Did you know that graduates of the GOTAFE Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50125), currently available under the Free TAFE program, could be eligible to make use of a partnership pathway into the Bachelor of Education at La Trobe University (regional Campuses), providing the students successfully meet all admission requirements?
It means you could start your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121)– the entry course to the Diploma and also currently available under the Free TAFE program – at GOTAFE’s Fryers Street Campus and move all the way through to a Bachelor of Education within the same street right here in Shepparton.
Kialla Children’s Centre – which employs a number of GOTAFE students and graduates – will speak at the Shepparton Expo about the pathway options available to prospective Early Childhood Education and Care students, including workplace training, Free TAFE programs and higher education partnerships.
Unlocking pathways and information like this is exactly what the Careers and Futures Expo is designed for.
Whether you are a parent looking to help your child on their next step, a school-leaver trying to find your fit through TAFE opportunities or a career-changer interested in speaking with industry experts to make the path ahead of you clearer, join us at The Expo.
Come along from 3pm-7pm and connect with employers, educators and industry experts to find out more about how NVITAFE can help you find the next step on your pathway with confidence.
Held during National Skills Week, The Expo will also help you learn about future workforce opportunities and emerging industries and find the skills, qualifications and experiences that can help shape your future.
