The NRL and Rugby League Players Association have agreed to an in-principle collective bargaining agreement after months at war with one another.

The long-term agreement, finalised late Thursday, brings an immediate end to all action from players, including the game-day media boycott announced in July.
It comes after the warring parties met for a collection of talks across Wednesday and Thursday this week, which had given both hope the situation could be resolved by this week.
For the first time there will be an NRLW collective bargaining agreement in place that covers the game's female players.
The CBA was more than nine months overdue and had been delayed as the parties disputed issues such as the length of the season, insurance and player access and ownership of data.
