Hosted by the outgoing Year 6 school captains, the Zootopia-themed concert was performed in front of a large school community audience.
If the students’ enthusiasm at the concert was anything to go by, such events will continue to be enjoyed for many years to come.
The evening began with the symbolic Christian Nativity play by the Prep children.
The captains did a great job hosting. The evening’s success was also due to the school staff, teaching the choreography and Christmas songs, helping with sound, props, promotion and music, alongside those who provided the costumes.
The primary school concert saw nearly every school child taking part, with the audience singing and clapping along.
All grades put much gusto into their dance acts. It was great to see them having fun performing for the concert.
At the finale, Year 6 student Ari Logus wished everyone a merry Christmas and happy and safe new year.
The final item on the program was performed by the whole school, singing as one, Mary’s Boy Child and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The Nagambie Primary School children and staff are to be congratulated on their annual observance of the festive season and the passing on of some vibrant Christmas spirit at their end-of-year concert.
