Like most businesses in town, the cafe was required to change its business model to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions.
While revenue has taken a hit, manager Harry Sukhchain said continued support from the Seymour and district community was uplifting.
“Things are obviously not great for us at the moment,” he said.
“We’ve had to halve our staff and significantly reduce the menu. We’re only doing quick takeaway food rather than our larger menu.
“Coffee is our biggest thing at the moment and we really appreciate people not only still coming in but taking the restrictions seriously as well.
“People are still supporting local businesses when they are doing it tough themselves. It's great to be part of a community that looks out for each other.”
Mr Sukhchain said it would take at least six months for the business to return to normal once coronavirus was under control and restrictions were lifted.
“People are very fearful at the moment, which is understandable. It will take a while for them to want to come out and resume their lives,” he said.
“Thankfully we are receiving government support to keep us going. We would be really struggling to keep any staff on if it wasn’t for JobKeeper.
“It’s really tough for everyone, but if we stick together and keep supporting each other, we’ll see the other side of this.”
