Barooga 22 def by Mulwala 68.
A wonderful display of netball by the Mulwala girls was a timely reminder of just what they are capable of.
A very solid effort across the board and plenty of position changes showed their adaptability.
Steph was unstoppable in goals, Tess’ determination and drive had a big impact and Amity was consistent at both ends of the court.
The Lionesses need to dig deep and continue to finish off the season strong.
Awards: Wingates - Tess McNamara, Seeliger Real Estate - Steph Hammond, Lake Mulwala Bakery - Amity Drayton.
B Grade
Barooga 22 def by Mulwala 42.
A good win by the Lions girls with defenders again providing plenty of turnovers for the attackers to reward their efforts.
Taylah and Hollie shot beautifully again, and Mikayla made the switch from defence to shooter which seemed easy in the final quarter.
The team need to stick to their plan going into the final rounds to ensure their best netball.
The B Grade may need to adopt Nat’s fitness regime to ensure they can do this!!
Awards: Nagles Butchery - Hollie McNamara, Food Mill on Bayley - Mikayla Woosnam.
C Grade

With a new look team the C Grade Lionesses are all working very hard from centre pass to goals. Everyone is playing amazingly and the defenders are working so hard together.
The score doesn’t show how hard and well they played, well done girls.
Awards: Publicans Daughter - Addye Carr, Seeliger Real Estate - Tayla McNamara.

Barooga 31 def Mulwala 26.
With a couple of team members out with injuries, the Under 17s were grateful for the under 15s bench this week.
The girls were fired up after last time these two teams played and there was a one goal loss.
With great defence and some smart play the girls had a strong game.
Unfortunately the Lionesses went down by five in the end but great improvements were seen.

Under 13s
Barooga 12 def by Mulwala 21.
On the ‘brand spanka’ new courts the girls tore it up, walking away with the win. Hands over balls and intercepts were fantastic, as well as beautiful passing into the ring.
Girls changed it up in different positions and were amazing.
Great game to watch, well done girls.
Awards: Food Mill on Bayley - Summer Ibbott, Paradise Palms - Charli Taylor, Zambreros - Ruby Sneddon.
