GoFish Nagambie is Australia’s richest and largest freshwater fishing tournament and outdoor lifestyle festival, running over the Anzac Day weekend from April 25 to 28.
In its inaugural year, the festival is a fun, family-friendly event for fishos and non-fishos alike to gather with activities, entertainment and the region’s finest food and wine.
During the festival, MS will be running the GoFish Nagambie MS Raffle to raise vital funds to provide support services to people living with multiple sclerosis, to ensure no-one must face this debilitating disease alone.
The MS raffle will give punters the chance to win a Stacer 429 Rampage boat package, complete with aluminium Stacer trailer and 25hp Evinrude outboard motor, along with a Lowrance HDS-9 Live sounder fish finder, two-night stay at Barong On The Water and a GT Pro Extra Lite III custom fishing rod.
The MS raffle would not be possible without the support of generous sponsors Stacer, Evinrude, Lowrance and GT Custom Rods.
Tickets are $5 each or six for $20, or 20 for $50, and are available at the MS Marquee in the registrations area and in the Expo Hub at the festival.
MS is also excited to present the inaugural GoFish Nagambie MS Family Program, providing people living with multiple sclerosis, their families and carers a unique experience at GoFish Nagambie.
Ten families will be attending the GoFish Nagambie MS Family Program, where they will be participating in the fishing tournament, will experience a range of organised activities at the GoNagambie Festival and have an opportunity to meet and form friendships with other families also facing multiple sclerosis.
The GoFish Nagambie MS Family Program would not be possible without generous local support.
Solar City Marine has provided a boat for family fishing, Trellys is supplying each family with rod and reel combos, Torqeedo and Aquayak Kayaks are providing kayaks and Lakes Yoga will be hosting a class for the MS Family Program.
GoFish Nagambie is an inclusive, family-friendly event located on the banks of the majestic Goulburn River and Nagambie Lakes at the Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre.
Activities will run over next week’s Anzac Day long weekend from April 25 to 28.
