Under 12s
The Under 12s Grand Final was a contest between the Bombers and the Magpies. This was a hotly contested footy early on until the Bombers started to show the footy that they had played all year to finish on top of the ladder to come out a dominate winner.
Bombers 11.4.70 defeating the Magpies 0.0.0. It was a full team effort from the Bombers right across the ground, the Magpies never gave up and continued to try right through the game.
In the consolation final that was played out between the Roos and the Swans, the Swans were able to hang on in the second half to come out eventual winner and finish a great year on a winning note; Swan 4.5.29 defeating the Roos 3.4.22.

The Under 12s Best and Fairest was also a tightly contested affair with 4 boys in contention going into the last round but the eventual winner with a best on ground performance in the last round was Cody Costello, with joint runners up in Billy Doyle and Jack Ibrihim. Well done to these 3 superstars.
The scribe, Nathan Tresize would like to also take the opportunity to thank Mark Van Den Bosch and his tribe for showing up every week at 3:30pm to set up the grounds.
It is a great help to Nathan so that he can concentrate on getting things running. Also, Kerryn Van Den Bosch from operating the canteen each week.
Nathan also had four Under 14 boys there each week to help umpire and it has been great having you umpire games to take the stress away from parents having to worry about have to officiate.
Thank you to Oliver Tresize, Charlie Hargreaves, Jimmy Cummins and Cooper Webster who show up every week to help out, Max Loughnan and Lucas Kaine also helped out at different times as well.
Well that is it another year of Friday night football, it has been a great success.
The new format went well, and the competition saw the benefits of that in the development of the kids throughout the year.
Special mention to all coaches that took on this task and executed it perfectly. Thank you to the YFNC and to all the parents for your support throughout the year.
