The Finley A-grade girls hit the court determined to get another win against the Numurkah side.
Suffering another week without one of their centre court players saw the girls hit the court in a mix of positions.
The girls took a comfortable lead and came off in high spirits at half time.
Unfortunately, a few too many changes on the court and fatigue saw the third quarter prove tough.
The Numurkah side took the opportunity to close the gap on the score.
In the last quarter, Finley took the court and worked hard to find their groove again, taking the win defeating Numurkah 51 to 39.
Shania Bentley shone on court creating flow for the attacking end, working tirelessly in the circle to add points to the board.
Ruby Russell took no time warming up, shooting accurately and putting huge effort into putting into play the things they had worked on during training the prior weeks.
Special mentions to Daisy Daniel who again worked tirelessly in WD and continues to show huge improvement each and every week, and Jordan Gray who did a fantastic job after stepping up and filling in to play her second full game of the day.

The first half was a slow start and saw some unforced skill errors, but the girls chipped away being only two down after the first quarter and six at half time.
The team came out firing in the third quarter, with well timed leads, creating space down court, great feeds and positioning in the ring from our goalers.
Amarlee Price was on fire in the goals, and our defenders pulled in multiple intercepts and strong rebounds. We started the last quarter only trailing by one goal.
Unfortunately it was not to be, with the opposition shutting down our scoring opportunities.
Defence again stepped up to the challenge led by Jordan Gray, to hold off the final score to just ten.

Special mention to Charlotte Fleming who shot 24 goals.
Our mid courters drove the ball down court with fast ball movement and leads against some tall opposition, took some great intercepts and fed the ball countless times into our goalers.
Our defenders had a challenge today, but rose up to the occasion, adapting with tight defence against a tall shooter, multiple turnovers from reading the play and strong rebounds.
