It was pretty cold conditions for the Deni Rovers juniors who welcomed Katandra to Memorial Park last weekend.

Heading into round 11 the thirds boys have been playing a very good brand of football, but Katandra proved to be too strong on the day.
The back line did everything they could, but unfortunately Katandra opened them up.
There was good ball movement through the centre of the ground, but the Roos couldn’t convert when they needed too.
As a young side the boys showed a lot of guts and determination against a much bigger side.
Better players were Cayden Hawley, Cam Wills, Connor Didcock, Baxter Cowley and Tyson Willis.

The fourths started the day well with a convincing win over Katandra.
There are certainly some very good young players coming through the ranks, so Rovers are continuing to work on their skills and see where the season takes them.

The youngest Rovers are showing great improvement and worked together well as a team at the weekend.

A real traditional clash against the Redeyes tomorrow when Rovers compete for the Warner Tasker Cup.
This is a day that both clubs look forward to and one that the club will need to give 100 percent to win.
