Clean sweep for Toc netballers

A-grade: Tocumwal 55 def Mathoura 36.

A great win girls.

There was great intensity for all four quarters, strong defensive pressure right through the court and great shooting to captitalise.

A huge congratulations to Abby O’Connell on her A-grade debut, and her first A-grade goal. We’re sure there will be many more to come in the not-so-distant future.

A great game played with patience allowed us to reap the reward of all our hard work, with another win on the board.

There was great defensive pressure and intercepts right down the court.

A well-deserved win.

All the hard work at training is paying off.

There were displays of great defencee and great attack – keep it up.

There was a super exciting finish against a team that fought right down to the last whistle.

The side displayed beautiful defensive pressure, great turnovers, and beautiful passages of play down the shooting end.

They found some fire in their bellies and used it. Great job.

Another close game. There were many turnovers due to some great intercepts.

There was also lovely passages of play with great defensive pressure from Mia Owen and Summer Parker.

The girls were rushing a bit in the first half and turning the ball over, but did well listening to Sharon and showed a huge improvement in the second half.

Friday night Yarrawonga competition:

Tocumwal Red were defeated by Yarra Fantails in a very competitive game.

Our girls fought hard in the third quarter to be only one goal behind as they headed into the fourth quarter, but Yarra was just too strong.

Tocumwal White were not strong enough to take the win against Yarra Racers.
