In their round 15 clash with Richmond last Wednesday, Mundy couldn't lift Fremantle past the reigning premiers, as the Tigers finished 27-point winners.
A goal separated the two sides ahead of the final quarter before the Tigers finished strongly to earn the four points.
Mundy opens up on playing future
Mundy was solid throughout the match with 17 disposals and four inside-50s.
But the veteran started the new week off in better spirits after the Dockers knocked off Melbourne by 14 points on Monday night.
Mundy continued to put his body on the line for his teammates in their round 16 encounter, picking up 20 disposals, 16 of which were contested.
He added a further seven clearances and seven tackles to his name to be among his team's best.

But the side's two-point loss to Western Bulldogs on Sunday put more of a dent in the Eagles’ finals aspirations.
Cole had 10 disposals, seven marks, and five intercepts throughout the match - along with his second career goal - in another solid performance for the Victorian.
