After his side had made 158 against Puckapunyal - of which he contributed a handy 20 not out down the order - Zoch destroyed the opposition batting line-up with 9-17 from nine overs.
Pyalong's opening bowlers had failed to make any inroads, but Zoch struck with the score reading 0-29 and proceeded to take the next eight wickets to fall for just 18 runs.
But teammate Joseph Ryan claimed a victim at the other end - although Gavin Thomson surely thought about grassing the chance in the field - before Zoch could wrap up proceedings with his ninth and dismiss Puckapunyal for just 51 on the final ball of his allotted spell.
Over in Kilmore, Alexandra was dominant in a 117-run triumph, although Corey Dennehy battled hard for the home side with 4-21 from his nine overs and 43 out of 106 with the bat.
Eastern Hill crumbled for just 79 against Tallarook as Damien Humphrey (4-12) ran riot, while Broadford managed just 76 in reply to Avenel's 7-188.
● In C-grade action Puckapunyal Wanderers had the better of Broadford Red thanks to the work of Aaron Ridgeway.
Coming in at first-drop, Ridgeway hit 52 of his side's 162 runs to lead the way despite the bowling efforts of Red's Harley Austin (4-35) and Justin Martin (3-39).
Red could only manage 4-126 in reply thanks to some tight bowling from the Wanderers.
Kilmore had a thrilling win over Pyalong, tasting victory by two wickets in a low-scoring affair.
Opener Dave Adams hit 43 for Pyalong in a lone hand among a total of 90 before Shannon Brown (34) and Dwayne Munnings (18 not out) got Kilmore home eight wickets down.
Michael Edwards was superb in attempting to defend the low score, taking 3-8 from eight overs and sending six of those down as maidens.
Other results in round 18 included Royals forfeiting to Broadford Black and Alexandra reeling in Seymour's 82 with four wickets and 20 overs to spare.
