Both teams will split the points, meaning both Seymour teams will progress to the post-season.
With only one game each to be played in round 13 this weekend, both the men and women go into their final games of the regular season in strong finishing positions.
Up first will be the Lady Blasters, who have a tough task against top-of-the-table Wodonga.
With the Blasters in line to finish the season third, coach Bill Pearce said his side would use the game to trial new things ahead of finals.
“We'll change the pace up and slow their offence down,” he said.
“Wodonga have a good couple of guards, but we'll have Lucy Zotti back and Maddison Ford, who are good runners.
“We'll push the ball down the floor early.”
Another challenge for the Blasters will be negating the influence of the Wolves’ star shooter, Mel Kirby.
“Mel shoots 20-plus points every week. If we can deny her the catch and limit her influence, it will be a great win for us,” Pearce said.
Following the ladies’ match, the Blasters will attempt to lock down third spot.
With the finals draw coming into focus, a third-place finish would see the Blasters avoid top-of-the-table Wallan Panthers in the semi-finals.
Although they are coming up against bottom-of-the-ladder Wodonga on Saturday, coach Craig Hockley said his men would not be taking any chances.
“We need to make sure mentally we're ready and we turn up to play,” he said.
“A couple games that has happened, we've been under the pump.
“We've been able to scrap wins out, but they've been ugly.”
● The Lady Blasters will take to the courts at Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre from 6 pm Saturday, while the men's game kicks off at 8 pm.
