Yarrawonga farmers can learn about farm safety and preventing farm crime at the Victorian Farmers Federation ‘Making Our Farm Safer Project’ and Victoria Police ‘Farm Safe n Secure’ Event at Burkes Hotel on Wednesday, August 24 at 6.30pm.
The free event is a farm safety initiative offering education and support to all farmers in Victoria under the Victorian Government ‘Smarter Safer Farms’ commitment.
The evening will include presentations from VFF MOFS Senior Farm Safety Advisor John Darcy, and a representative from the Victoria Police Farm Crime Unit.
Topics for discussion include farm safety, preventing farm crime and new firearm storage regulations.
The 'Farm Safe n Secure' Yarrawonga event will go from 6.30pm - 8.30pm, with a free meal provided. Networking to follow.
