The Rotary Club of Seymour’s annual trivia night has lived up to its reputation as one of the town’ biggest fundraisers.
Taking place on Saturday, April 30, at St Mary’s Hall in Seymour, the event was a huge hit with the community.
Master of ceremonies Ian Moore entertained his near 200-member audience with music, games, prizes and silent auctions alongside carefully crafted trivia questions.
Approximately $10,000 was raised and the money will be redistributed back into the community at the end of the financial year.
The Rotary Club of Seymour was keen to extend its gratitude to sponsors who donated to the evening, and club president Kathy Mills was thrilled with the fundraiser.
“Everybody was laughing, enjoying the company of the people around their table, enjoying everybody's company. Really, it was nice to all be together,” she said.
“Around the outside of the walls were all of the things that had been donated by local organisations.
“So everybody doing a little bit, everybody putting in what they could do, has assisted us in achieving achieving our goal.”
