The new CFA station, located on Eades Way in Pyalong, was officially opened to the community on Sunday, October 5.
About 90 people attended the event, including the brigade’s previous captains and state members for Northern Victoria Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell and Gaelle Broad.
With a variety of food on offer, and the brigade’s history on display, the opening was a successful facilitator of community connection, as well as a symbol of the Pyalong Fire Brigade’s ongoing growth.

Captain Brendan Kelly said the new facilities would be helpful in boosting the brigade’s future growth.
“(It was) a great day to celebrate a long-awaited upgrade to our outdated facilities that we had,” Mr Kelly said.
“We are now up to date with 2025 standards, which allows us to introduce more female members and broaden our membership.
“This new station is built to last and it’s easy to see this new build servicing our community well into the future.”
Previous captain Mick Ryan cut the ribbon on the station, marking its official opening as a pillar of the Pyalong community.
