For the first time in a year, music could be heard wafting out over the Conargo plains from the Deni Ute Muster site again on Saturday.
The annual Play on the Plains festival attracted 2000 people, who soaked up a festival atmosphere which included dancing and singing thanks to the relaxations of COVID rules.

Food vans and flowing drinks added to the atmosphere, enjoyed by music lovers of all ages.
Six of the eight artists got through their sets before a storm rolled in, with lightning forcing organisers to cancel the remaining two acts.
