The Benalla Badminton Club’s summer season had a hot start on and off the courts.
Four teams played last week with Amalthea (team two) 184 defeated by Io (team four) 195 while Europa (team five) 240 defeated Callipso (team one) 197.
There were four three-game winners on the night. Congratulations and well played.
This week’s draw sees Callipso (team one) play Amalthea (team two) and Ganymede (team three) play Europa (team five).
If you cannot play, try to organise a fill-in yourself from the on-call team, which is “Io” this week. Please let Tim know what you have organised, as he needs to know. If you are unable to find someone, Tim will help you. Call him on 0417 537 135.
Try to be at the courts by 7.15pm to help put up the nets and have a warm-up, then games start at 7.30pm.
Remember squash is now playing at the Faithful St campus in the interim and on Thursday night, as the indoor recreation stadium is out of action due to the floods and some structural damage.
