Women
A-grade winner of the stableford event was Jo Goodacre with 40 points.
Both B and C-grades were taken out by Jane Bow with 34 points.
Jo Goodacre was hot, also winning the nine-hole competition with 24 points and nearest-the-pin on the eighth. To make it a winner’s only day, nearest-the-pin on 13 was Jane Bow.
The 18-hole balls also went to Jo with 40 points while Irene Keogh (38) and Annette Mills (37) also had a win here.
Jo completed a big day out with a share of the nine-hole balls while on 24 points with Annette (19) points and Moz Fowler (18) also in the action. It’s also really good to see Annette back on the golf course after an enforced lay-off.
Next week will be stroke event and monthly medal (3).
Last week’s chicken run saw 33 players for a stroke event played on the back nine and the winner was M. O’Connell with 48-16-32 net.
Nearest-the-pin went to M. Roberts.
This week will be a par event to be played on the front nine; with nearest-the-pin on the 16th.
