This season, the competition has had entries from all the clubs within its division and the standard of bowling from the participants has been ‘‘very high’’.
The games have been played at most clubs and have been supported by families and friends.
On the previous Sunday, the champion of champions men’s and women’s events were held at Wallan Bowling Club.
As well as being a successful day for the club, it turned out to be an exciting match with Steve Matchem from Eildon BC and Denise Hogan from Broadford BC winning their respective events.
The regional state finals will be conducted during the next few weeks between the Central, Goulburn and Murray divisions with games this year being held at venues in the Central Bowls area.
Dates and venues of these games are on the Central Bowls Division website.
Congratulations to all winners and bowlers who represented their clubs in the past week.
More than 60 CGM finals have been completed, with Trevor Young and Wilma Atkins having already competed in the state finals at Frankston.
