The event, which will take place at Nagambie Brewery and Distillery, will be an opportunity for like-minded women to connect and share experiences over lunch and drinks.
The bank is providing an afternoon with an exemplarily line up of speakers headlined by Bendigo Bank managing director Marnie Baker who will discuss the responsibilities of leadership.
Joining Marnie will be local businesswomen TBA Law’s Jacqueline Brauman (recently awarded regional lawyer of the year by the Law Institute of Victoria), Nagambie HealthCare chief executive Bronwyn Beadle, Mandalay Resources general manager Melanie McCarthy and owner of Fresh Fields Mushrooms Michelle Wilkinson.
Nagambie Bendigo Bank branch manager Michael Prowse said the bank was passionate about strengthening the Nagambie community as well as the surrounding districts.
‘‘We are really excited to be putting together this exciting event. We believe it will be highly valuable to the local business community,’’ he said.
‘‘Women in business are up against the odds. With the juggle of work and family life, a gender pay gap, fewer opportunities for investment funding and an ongoing struggle to be taken seriously, it’s common for business women to feel isolated and overwhelmed.’’
‘‘It’s because of our fantastic customers that we’re able to put on events like this and we’d like to formally invite all women and men in the business community to purchase tickets to our celebration of women in business.’’
Tickets to the event are $90 and include a three-course shared style lunch, wine and a gift bag.
All profits from the day will be donated to Nagambie HealthCare.
Tickets can be purchased online at heathcotenagambie.community or by visiting the Nagambie branch of Bendigo Bank.
