The winning team on the day was Max Tilburyn and Christine Gray, who won by plus 7.
Losing the first with one shot up in the second was Brian Higgins and Peter Randell.
Saturday saw the first two rounds of men’s pairs played, with the last round to be played on Saturday, March 23.
Sunday, March 17, saw the semi-finals of the mixed pairs played with John Stevens and Yvonne Capp advancing easily.
The other semi-final was decided on the last end with Janis McClure and Ian Hobson only advancing by one shot.
The final was won comfortably by John Stevens and Yvonne Capp 22-11, who were too consistent on the day.
