My blood pressure has finally come down. Between the Bombers’ close call and Tabilk’s under-13s, I’m feeling my age.
A huge game in Yea against a lovely group of girls saw us finish with a draw. Every single player on the court was spent.
We entered the game with the bare seven players, but every single player played their hearts out and fought so hard.
James Wall shot steadily and adjusted well to working with different players. Larni and Regan shared the wing attack and goal attack responsibilities throughout the game and both presented very well.
Georgie ran centre all day and worked tirelessly to bring the ball down the court, providing opportunities for our shooters.
The defensive pressure from Olivia, Jasmin and Lacey was superb.
I’m so proud of all these players and it was hard to pick the award, which went to Jas for her outstanding defence and positive attitude.

Under-15
We travelled to Yea on Sunday to take on the Tigers.
Down to the bare seven, we had a slow start as the Tigers came out firing early. However, as we warmed up we found our rhythm and slowly but surely we took the lead and increased the margin.
Thank you to Larni for stepping up from under-13s to help in the last quarter, you did a great job.
Score: Tabilk 42 d Yea 19.
Award: Olivia Nash.
