Tennis is back into the swing of things in Seymour after a break during the school holidays.
Junior tennis resumed on Saturday with Seymour Blue winning its encounter with Broadford Blue in section one.
Seymour also took out its match in section two.
The section one match was a close encounter with Seymour Blue, where the home side won four sets, 28 games to Broadford Blue’s two sets, 26 games.
Player of the day for Seymour was Samuel Lambert.
The section two match was won by Seymour in a three-set 32-game scoreline to Avenel’s three sets, 25 games. Seymour’s best player was Matthew Whitfort.
In the senior competition results were mixed, as Seymour Red defeated Broadford White four sets, 41 games to two sets, 30 games. Seymour Blue lost to Wallan Green, seeing out a one set, 27 games to five sets, 42 games scoreline.
