Preseason training is back across the region and with it the final touches to playing squads and coaching lists have been filtering through.

At Murray Football League outfit Finley there is a new man in charge, with Tom Doyle stepping up to take the reins from Rob Daniel.

Doyle returned to the Cats last year after a season away and impressed throughout his 20 matches.

He will take on a player-coach role this year, with Daniel to remain involved with the club.

In more good news for the Cats, versatile big man Tim Robertson has returned to the side and will play a crucial role this season.

Longwood has also found a replacement for outgoing coach Nick Brown.

The Kyabram District Football League side will be led by Mick Galvin this year, with his wife Gail also set to bolster the Redlegs’ netball squad.

Murchison-Toolamba has welcomed back a former junior to the fold, with Dylan Moncur returning to the club where he claimed a thirds premiership in 2010.

The running midfielder has spent the past four seasons with Stanhope.

Picola District Football League side Tocumwal has also bolstered its midfield stocks with a summer signing.

Trent Boglas, who played a small number of games for the Bloods in 2013, is returning to Tocumwal’s list.

The ball-winner has experience with Montmorency and Port Douglas and was Assumption College 1st XVIII captain in his senior year.
