For more than three months the Lions Club of Seymour Goulburn has co-ordinated a raffle for the Australian Lions Foundation (ALF) Drought Relief.
Its members have been pinning down locals outside Woolworths, Commonwealth Bank, IGA and attended the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo selling tickets for the raffle.
On March 5 the raffle was drawn and the winners were:
First prize: Keith McKenzie — hand-made, framed cross stitch, value $450.
Second prize: Garry Sutton — hand-made crochet rug, value $100.
Third prize: Julie Smout — travel bag, value $60.
Club secretary Liz Johnson said they would like to congratulate all the winners and thanked everyone involved for allowing them to sell the tickets in front of their businesses.
‘‘A special thanks to Mick and Donna Fulton from STIHL Seymour Shop for having us as part of their site at the Expo this year,’’ Ms Johnson said.
‘‘All the money raised from the sale of tickets — as well as the money donated — will go to ALF Drought Relief,’’ she said.
