The new Regional Roads Victoria (RRV) will be attending Seymour Alternative Farming Expo this weekend.
Community members will be able to talk to RRV staff members and find out about the new country roads body.
RRV engagement manager (Northern) Séamus Haugh said engineers, safety experts and customer service representatives would be on hand to talk about everything from primary producer registrations and interstate licensing to road maintenance projects and planning.
‘‘In regional Victoria roads play a different role to those in the city, which is why, as a division of VicRoads, we’re keen to speak with communities about what matters to them and answer questions about local road projects,’’ Mr Haugh said.
‘‘To save people a trip into one of our customer service centres we’ll also have support for those wanting to set up short-term rego or learn about our online tools including myVicRoads and the new MyLearner app,’’ Mr Haugh said.
Those not attending the expo can phone the RRV team on 133778.
