Credit card charges

By Seymour Telegraph

Police charged a woman for allegedly using a stolen credit card in Seymour on December 12.

The Craigieburn woman, 25, was charged with a number of deception and theft offences.

The woman has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on March 6.

Police appealed to the public last week, releasing a photo of a man and a woman they wanted to speak to in relation to allegedly using a stolen credit card to buy groceries.

Police alleged the pair found a lost credit card near a Williams St store and used it to buy groceries and alcohol at several locations in Seymour.

A Craigieburn man, 26, was not charged.
