Barooga got off to a flyer after choosing to bat first getting to 1/90 off the first 15 overs.
Some tight bowling by Luke Dinan, Reilly Rennick and Andrew Lean began to bring the game back under control.
Angus Bouchier and Liam Sutton broke through their middle and lower orders to dismiss them for 188.
Sutton got the pick of the figures getting 4/19, including his first A-grade wicket - the opposition captain for 83.
Bouchier finished with 3/20 and Lean got 2/28.
The batting innings started poorly falling three down quickly.
Reilly Rennick (32) and Tom Oliver (40) rebuilt amazingly well before Dinan came in and made a fantastic 33.
Toc were heading along well until some untimely wickets.
With overs running out, Pat Bennett and Andy Arthur nearly managed to bring Toc home with a solid last wicket partnership.
Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be, with Toc going down by 20 runs.
“There was great fight shown today as a team and every player contributed and put in a huge effort all day,” Andrew Lean said.
“Losing hurts, but we as a club and team can be proud of the efforts of the team today.
“A big thank you must go to Toby Chappell who only flew in this morning from WA but came down and contributed well to the team.
“We all really appreciate the effort you put in for the club.”
In B-grade, the day was looking good from the start with some well overdue fine weather.
Ranji Oliver kicked Toc off well by winning the toss and electing to bat.
Corey Percy opened the batting and Ed Haynes madeg a return to Toc cricket with a strong 11 runs.
After losing the openers, Josh Wraight (4) unfortunately got out early bringing Oliver (27) out to face out the opening bowlers.
Sam Bennett, Michael Laver, Joe Barker and Jess Bennett were unlucky getting out early.
This gave Tom White (17) the opportunity to go out and make some runs.
Toc finished the batting innings off with Marlin Webster (4*) starring at the crease once again, and Ray Sutton (2) making an epic return to cricket.
With a small total of 86 runs, Toc went out to bowl with positive attitudes and a drive to win.
Laver and Barker started off strong, taking advantage of the unpredictable pitch, Laver taking two wickets and Barker taking one.
Percy also bowled well hitting a good length and taking a wicket.
After bringing on spin with White and Oliver, wickets fell quickly with both taking two wickets each.
There were some great efforts in the field, with catches taken by Wraight, Edward Haynes, Bennett and Oliver, as well as two run outs by White and Bennett.
“Although Toc missed Daniel Bennett, Haynes was fantastic behind the stumps,: Jess Bennett said.
“The final run out bought the game to an end just after drinks.
“An awesome first win for our B-grade side.”
In what was looking to be a close finish, Tocumwal under-16s managed to get the better of the Finley team to win by 32 runs.
On day two Finley headed out to bat at 6/68.
Joe Barker opened the bowling, keeping it straight and tight and not letting Finley get the shots away.
Barker was supported by Logan White who also bowled extremely clean, taking another two wickets across four maiden overs this week to end with 6/8 off eight.
A change of bowling pairs saw Cooper Mangion and Sam Bennett take the ball.
Keeping with the tight bowling, Mangion took a wicket for two maiden overs and Sam completed the innings with a wicket off his second ball from running slide catch by Logan.
The Toc fielders all assisted the bowlers with sharp quick fielding around the pitch ensuring Finley didn't find any quick singles.
Finley finsihed their innings 10/77.
At 7/81 Toc headed back into bat already with the win under their belt.
Night watchman Tom White managed to pop one up early to be caught out.
Jeremy Packer, sitting on 32 not out from last week, again found the boundary early with a four. He then got a couple of singles before finally being dismissed for the game high of 38 runs.
Jess Bennett and Archie Chellew worked consistently to keep the run rate ticking over.
With some solid blocks and a bit of loose bowling from Finley, they formed a 20 run partnership before Jess (3) was bowled out ending Tocumwal's innings at 10/109.
Chellew headed back to the shed 4 no.
“Some highlights of the game were Jeremy Packer’s top score of 38, Dan Eldridge from Finley taking 6/4 off eight overs and our Logan White taking 6/9 off eight overs,” Deb White said.
Taking on a young Berrigan under-14 team, Toc’s top end players controlled the game.
Sam Bennett (37) and Tom White (36) both remained not out with good support from Chase Dickins (19), Lora Owen and Archie Chellew.
Toc’s bowlers - James White with four wickets and skipper Liam Sutton with two - wrapped up the win.
The Toc fielding by all was outstanding.
The Berrigan youngsters were very competitive in a good game.
