Zoo Two through to pool final

By Deniliquin Pastoral Times

Zoo Two have avenged last year’s Deniliquin & District Pool Competition grand final loss by knocking out reigning premier Buncha Two in the final qualifier on Wednesday night.

Played at the Coach House, it was a tight battle between the two sides, with scores level at 4-all after the singles games.

Zoo Two held their nerve in the doubles however, winning both games to claim a 6-4 win.

Clint Bent stood tall for his side, winning his three games.

The win sets up a battle between first and second on the ladder in the grand final with Exchange One taking on Zoo Two.

The decider will be played at the Buncha, starting at 2.30pm on Sunday.
