School cricket day

More than 200 Year 3-6 students from five local schools (Lowesdale, Corowa South, Corowa Public, Mulwala and St Mary’s) spent almost four hours on a sunny John Foord Oval last Friday, participating in a school cricket day run by Cricket NSW’s Woolworths Cricket Blast. Each school played four matches in a day designed to help promote the sport as we head into the cricket season. It looks more and more likely that Corowa will have an Under 12s team for the first time in a while.
