Rotary calling for community award nominations

By Cobram Courier

Cobram Rotary Club is accepting nominations for its community awards.

Community members can nominate people for three categories, including the main award of citizen of distinction, which recognises an individual’s service to the community.

There is also an apprentice/trainee of the year category for someone who has maintained a high standard of pride and workmanship in their chosen profession and customer service award for outstanding and consistent customer service.

Last year’s winners were Rachel McKay, winning for her ongoing charity work, including hosting Cobram’s Biggest Morning Tea; Darcy McCormack as the apprentice/trainee of the year and Greg ‘Oompy’ Piper was the recipient of the customer service award.

●If you know someone deserving of recognition in any of the listed categories, nominate them by emailing [email protected] or by filling in a form at Cobram Tech Solutions, 89 Punt Rd, Cobram. Nominations close June 1.
