Nagambie

We have just had another Mother’s Day fun afternoon with Big Kev, our local Roy Orbison, singing and entertaining our line dancers, rock and rollers and toe tappers enjoying his music.

The women excelled with afternoon tea, raffles, jokes, spinning wheel and lucky envelope made the afternoon, which finished late as members were enjoying themselves and time flew by.

The next event is on Tuesday, June 12, and is the N.A.G Cup, starting at 11am, with chicken and champagne. Cost is $15 a person.

Our mystery trip has filled, with only four places left.

Cost is $180 and members will enjoy real mystery on a great trip.

To book a place, phone 0428858834.

Our first bike day — senior recyclers — has been run, coffee and cakes enjoyed at the finish.

Tickets for the major fundraiser are available from the office.

The is for a gold locket and chain valued at $1394.

Members panned for the gold in the Rushworth forest six years ago.

Tickets cost $2 each or three for $5 and help is needed to sell the tickets to the public, friends and family.

Contact Lindsay you would like to help the club.

Yesterday Nagambie Healthcare women’s auxiliary held a card day at the old rowing club and 22 card players supported the event, which is very helpful for our hospital.

Line dancing is now Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoon, contact the club for times.

Cards start at 1pm, to whenever you go home.

Bingo is most enjoyable each Wednesday afternoon and do not forget the recycle club on Thursdays at 1.30pm, meeting at the club.
