Tallarook Primary School is set to receive $150,000 of funding from the Victorian Government to upgrade and modernise its facilities.

Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes recently announced funding as part of the the Victorian Budget 2018/19, which will see $180.8 million invested to build and upgrade 60 regional schools across the Northern Victoria electorate.

‘‘We are upgrading and rebuilding schools right across the Northern Victoria electorate to make sure they have the best classrooms and the best facilities for our hard working students and teachers,’’ Ms Symes said.

‘‘No matter where you live in Northern Victoria, students deserve to have a great school — Labor is getting on with rebuilding schools across our state to give hard-working families the facilities they need.’’

The Victorian School Building Authority will now start working with schools to determine the scope of their upgrades and how they can best be delivered.
