(lorna90) Nagambie resident Lorna Bazeley turns 90 tomorrow, with a family celebration planned for the weekend.

Nagambie Lakeview Lodge resident Lorna Bazeley joins the nonagenarian club tomorrow, with her family celebrating this special milestone at a 90th birthday party to be held at Le Penelope’s Restaurant on Saturday,

Ms Perry was born in Nagambie on February 22, 1928, to parents Arthur and Ethel, the eighth of nine children.

Her mother died when she was five and her father raised his family at Allawah outside Angustown.

Ms Perry went to the Bailieston East School and eventually married Edwin Bazeley in 1950. They had four children: Marilyn, Greg, Helen and Ray, who in turn had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She lived in Marie St for many years before going into the hostel.

Ms Perry said she has received flowers from some of her family in Perth already who cannot be at her party, but wished her well for her 90th birthday.
