Strathbogie Shire Council is hosting a drop-in information session for a variety of proposed infrastructure projects next week in Nagambie.

Strathbogie Shire Council is hosting a drop-in information session for a variety of proposed infrastructure projects next week in Nagambie.

The session will be held on December 14 from 4pm to 6pm at Harry’s Cafe in High St, Nagambie.

Projects to be included in the session are the Nagambie visitor information centre, angle parking, High St toilet block project, foreshore walk, and change to the V/Line bus stop.

Council staff and Ward Councillors will be on hand to speak about the options available for the above proposals.

At the recent ordinary council meeting, council resolved to consult with the community on these key projects, which will be regularly utilised by the community.

Mayor Amanda McClaren said this is all part of being a more open and transparent council, which are key values supporting their council plan.

‘‘These sessions are a great opportunity for our communities to keep informed and get involved in discussions about key infrastructure proposals in the shire,’’ she said.
