Suspended driver caught driving on drugs

October 26, 2017

A suspended driver was interviewed by police for trying to drive past an Automated Number Plate Recognition Operation in Tallarook on Sunday.

The 30-year-old Seymour man failed to stop at the ANPR site on the Hume Freeway.

Lack of concentration saw him collide a short time later with roadside railing.

Police were able to catch up with the driver who was not injured in the incident.

The man is also facing further charges of driving an unregistered car and giving a positive roadside drug test to methylamphetamine.
