Bogan Bingo for Justin - Gus McCubbing

by
October 25, 2017

Half game show, half party, Bogan Bingo is coming to town on behalf of Justin’s Day group to raise money to help fight melanoma cancer and aid palliative care services at Seymour Hospital.

The fundraiser, which will be held on November 4 at St Mary’s Hall, will see mullets, air guitar, 1980s music and crowd collaboration come together during a night of chaotic entertainment, in memory of Justin Quigg.

Mr Quigg lost his four-year battle with cancer on June 28 last year, but his family and friends are determined to bring his wish to fruition — that a fundraiser be held every year to help local families facing adversity.

This builds on the success of the fundraiser held in November 2015, which saw Seymour residents unite to raise money for Mr Quigg and his family to give them the opportunity to travel the north-east coast of Australia as he battled melanoma.

The Bogan Bingo event will be followed by a full weekend of events, to be held on November 18-19, marking the first annual ‘Justin’s Day’.

‚óŹTickets to the bingo are $35 each, while tables can be booked for $300.

Book through Lisa, phone 0411345110; Kelly, phone 0457959287; and Jo, phone 0417051358.
