SATURDAY, October 7 was the Seymour Field and Game monthly shoot at Avenel.
The 75-target event had 135 shooters participate on a lovely day for some good competition.
Overall handicap winner was Cassidy Nolan, with a score of 74 out of 75 (with handicap), with a lot of close scores being decided by countback.

The Field and Game clubs of Seymour and Kilmore hold an annual challenge for the “dunny seat” trophy, with the first leg held at Seymour and the next leg held at Kilmore.
Kilmore won the day with a score of 61.81 per cent to Seymour’s 60.23 per cent.
The next shoot will be the Scott Kanters Memorial, held on Saturday November 4, starting at 11am.
The Field and Game Nationals will be held over the Cup weekend near Wodonga.
